When we met 5 orphaned children left to fend for themselves, we knew we could help. 14 year old Yulianti’s story was especially disturbing, but we are pleased to say things have brightened up for the children.

Teenage pregnancies, sexual disease and HIV/AIDS has rocketed in Bali in recent years. Our latest workshops took us to Tabanan to teach teenagers essential health knowledge.

We were informed of five orphaned children, living with no parents or guardian in Central Bali. The situation upon assessment was even worse than what we had initially heard.

One recent visit to a new family shocked us – two parents and their two daughters Citra and Mira and toddler were living in a dirty basement room, with no ventilation or facilities. We are urgently seeking a sponsor to help them move into better accommodation.

When supporters Lisa and Mal came on holiday to Bali, they brought with them a whole suitcase full of donations for preschools in Bali.

Pasek Sinta has been through an awful lot. After her dad passed away, her scholarship was not enough to keep her in college – she would be forced to quit. But now that has all changed.
