BCP received some lovely visitors this week – Australian Midwife group from the University of Technology, Sydney.
The group spent the day finding out all about Bali Children’s Project’s work, seeing our brand new preschool and learning exactly what we do to help children in Bali.
The 25 students took time out to see our work whilst over in Bali. Starting at our the new Pre-school in Penestanan, Ubud, the group were given a presentation by BCP founder Linda Venter, followed by the chance to give lots of gifts to the children and school.
Led by Dr. Christine Catling, they then visited the local Primary school and immediately engaged the children in 3 classrooms in all sorts of activities. The absolute enjoyment was contagious. More gifts were given to the school and then a delicious lunch at Banana Leaf Cafe topped off the visit.
Everybody had smiles on their faces throughout the day and the children were overjoyed to meet new people and receive new toys and educational materials.
The group also very kindly donated funds to help support our work. You can see all the photos from the fantastic morning on our Facebook album.
