Can you help us raise 3,500 USD to transform Mangesta Library?
Libraries in Bali are often in poor shape. With books that are old and boring, it’s no wonder children aren’t reading. Most books were published 20-30 years ago and are black and white text books.
This is the case at Mangesta. Despite the school working hard to keep their library building in great condition, they just do not have the funding to turn it into an exciting place for children.
Tearchers have put together tables and chairs and kept the library clean. But with a boring interior and full of lesson books, children aren’t inspired to use it.
Bali Children’s Project is asking supporters to come together to help fund a renovation at this library.
Once we have hit our target, we will be able to fully renovate the library and turn it into a new world of imagination. We’ll repaint the the whole inside with murals, deliver new furniture and comfortable seating and over 500 books for students to read.
Names of every donor will be put on a plaque once the renovation is complete.
