We met Ni Made Suwisni years ago. She was unable to access school as her family were unable to pay the associated costs. Life in Bali can be tough.
We helped Ni Made Suwisni by giving her sponsorship so that she could access school. After years of sponsorship, Suwisni blossomed into an amazing young lady.
Suwisni woke at 3 am to help her mother make cakes, and then helped with housework before going to her vocational school. She studied 3 different languages on Sunday, and did schoolwork every night.
On the day she graduated, she visited us to say thank you for the help. Here she is in her graduation clothes (pictured, right).
Since leaving school Suwisni got a job in Ubud’s finest gelato shop, managing the front and interacting with customers from around the world.
Now, Suwisni is saving her money so that she can attend college. In the meantime, she made the efforts to put BCP’s new donation box out front so that other youngsters can have their chance at success too.
Giving bright young women like Suwisni access to education means that they can find jobs after school and go on to realise their dreams. Well done Suwisni, we love you!
Please help us provide opportunities for girls like Suwisni by donating or becoming a sponsor.
