Bali Children’s Project is so pleased to say that so far there have been a huge 118 packs raised from our 2019 School Entry Backpack Appeal.
It’s all thanks to kind businesses and supporters from all around the world who have helped to raise funds to send children to school with a smile.
The appeal is still getting started, and we are asking you to become part of it. A fully supplied backpack costs $100 USD and gives a child all they need to go to school happy. You can help by donating directly, by sharing on Facebook, or on Instagram.
Although free of formal charges, elementary school students are still struggling to go to school. Their families just can’t afford to but them new uniforms, materials, supplies, backpacks, shoes and more. So many children end up going to school with holes in their shoes and plastic bags for rucksacks.
