Fifteen Children Sponsored in July

At one of the most important times of the school year, Bali Children’s Project is delighted to have given 15 children sponsorships to stay in school.

According to official figures, 1 in 5 students will not make it through high school. These are normally the poorest students who end up dropping out because their parents just can’t afford the various school fees.

Stuck in this cycle of poverty, children have very few opportunities in life.

July is the time that many students drop out, as it is the start of the new school year. Children who have made it through primary or junior high make the step up to schools that are more expensive. If their families can’t afford to pay these fees, they drop out or go deeper into debt.

Our thanks to Lance, Graeme & Leesa, Mindy, Robert, Tanya, Megan, Gregory, David & Marilynn, Richard and Amy for all giving children a chance to escape the cycle of poverty. These kind people have sponsored a combined 15 children for school and giving them all new futures.

You can see students still needing sponsorship by visiting the Sponsorship Waiting List here.

You can become a sponsor and help change the course of a child’s life in Bali.

Sponsorships cover all associated costs for school and help children who would normally drop out to stay in school and graduate.
