195 Students Sponsored in 2020!

December brought the gift that students had been waiting for – a sponsorship for school.

In many countries, school is something that children can take for granted. In Indonesia, high school costs money. For the poorest families, it means their children have little chance of completing high school. In fact, 1 in 5 students in Bali will drop out before completing school.

Thankfully, this won’t be the case for the 16 students who were newly sponsored in December.

We thank our new sponsors of Juliet, Sebastian, Sahra & Jay, the McHugh Family, Dennis, Barry, Vicki, Ivonne, Larissa, Renu, Simone and Victoria for sponsoring in December.

It brings the total number of new sponsorships to 195 in 2020. Now these 117 girls and 78 boys have a brighter future thanks to their sponsors. In total, our sponsorship program consists of 600 students who are able to stay in school thanks to sponsors.

We are so grateful to all sponsors who are supporting children and families to achieve a better future.

The Sponsorship Waiting List is updated in real time with students needing support to complete school. Supporters are asked to choose a student to support and set up a monthly sponsorship.
