36 Students Sponsored in July

After the elation of seeing 138 students graduate from school in July, we’re delighted to announce that we were also able to sponsor a further 36 students, thanks to kind donors.

The sponsorships come mostly from kind donors of graduated students who have decided to continue sponsoring other children for school.

In Bali, high school costs money. Families who can’t afford the costs either get in debt, take loans they can’t afford to pay back or simply have their children drop out of school.

We have seen a massive rise in children needing help to complete school, as more families than ever are living in poverty after the pandemic.

We update our sponsorship waiting list regularly. If you’d like to read about students currently needing help to stay in school, visit this page.

Our thanks to July’s sponsors of Rima & Ajit, Mindy, Heather & Adam, Adam & Susanne, Jenna & John, Ben, Inka, Lee, The Felstead Family, Kenneth, Alison, Jan, Phuong, Paul, Michelle, Jenn & Sean, Robert, Alexandra, Kelsey, Polina, Bridget, Ida Bagus, Scott, Mindy & Antonios, Leilani, Gerry & Trond, Mita & Ilya, Paul, Theo & Stef, Roger & Barbara and Max.

Sponsor a Student for School

One in five students will never graduate from high school. You can help them to stay in school and escape the cycle of poverty forever.
