New Trash Sorting Center Opens
Bali Children’s Project is delighted to present the opening of our latest project, a new trash sorting and recycling center in Nyalian village.
Part of our Bali Green Communities Program, this opening represents a landmark for the community who now have an alternative to simply dumping or burning their trash.
Combined with an 18-month education program, we’ve helped this community to move from burning or dumping their trash to responsible waste management. We thank project supporters Karamagawa, Circle Club Asia, Acacia.co and John TG Neilsen.
We extend a special thanks to project partners Griya Luhu and the Nyalian village community.
