Seven Students Sponsored for School in April

A door to the future was unlocked for seven children who were at high risk of dropping out of school thanks to new sponsorships in April.

Our sponsorship program finds children who are unlikely to finish school due to costs, and provides them with a sponsorship to cover their costs.

That is exactly what has happened for seven students thanks to new sponsors Fivelements Retreat Bali, Coco, Fatima, Karin, Alisoun and Maya & Kevin.

In the Shadow of the Pandemic

Things may finally be starting to look up for Bali as tourism reopens after a pandemic that destroyed incomes of even those on the poverty line.

Left in its wake are even more whose families are unable to pay for their children’s school fees. Before the pandemic, school costs were a problem that forced 1 in 5 students to drop out of high school. However, now that figure is likely to be higher.
