Bali Children’s Project is proud to announce that thanks to a worldwide effort from donors, we have raise over 26,000 USD for COVID-19 Food Relief Packages.
It’s an incredible total which has enabled us to deliver 668 Food Packages to needy families.
The deliveries are continuing in July as families struggle to cope with Bali’s decimated economy. From tourism to basic day labour work, many families have seen their incomes slashed. For families who were already in poverty, it’s been an even more difficult time.
The food relief packages come loaded with non-perishable staples of rice, noodles, eggs, soap, oil, soap, detergent and toothpaste.
“We never imagined we would raise so many food packages” Ni Wayan Sulatri, Sponsorship Manager Assistant commented.
“It is our honour to help them in their time of need, on behalf of kind donors”
“Thank you for caring for Bali during the pandemic.
One relief package gives a family of 5 enough staples for over a month, meaning the packages have helped over 3,000 people.
